I achieved a personal goal today. iTunes tracks how many times you've listened to each song, and I'm now proud to say that I've listened to each song at least once. That might not seem very impressive to you, but I have to point out that I have 7100 songs on my computer at present, which is over 23 full days worth of music. It took a concerted effort on my part, and I had to listen to a lot of old crappy cds that I haven't listened to since I bought them a decade ago, but I did it. In a way, it's quite the accomplishment and I feel good because I've been working at it for a long time. In another way, it's horrible that my life is so devoid of actual accomplishments that I consider "listening to 7100 songs" something to be proud about. |
