If you practice yoga, you'll know that after you've been working hard doing your routine, you end things by spending 10 minutes or so just lying still on the floor in 'corpse pose'. At first it seems kinda of silly, but after all that activity, once you start lying still it feels soooo good. It's the most relaxing feeling in the world. I've found the exact same this is true after finals. Once I've turned in that last final, I like to just go home and lie down and not think about anything at all for a day or two. It's the most relaxing feeling in the world. I'm just going to lie here for a few days and enjoy it. |
